In this impressive luxury villa in Mallorca, mediterranean living meets state-of-the-art ventilation technology. The high-quality fittings, including a spacious wellness area, infinity pool and studio, are complemented by a perfectly tailored ventilation system that offers maximum comfort, energy efficiency and reliable protection against damp, odours and mould.
An innovative living environment in the wellness area
In the wellness area in the basement – equipped with two saunas, showers and** a horizontal shower** – a central WS 320 KB ventilation system from MAICO (wall-mounted) ensures a consistently pleasant and hygienic indoor climate. The unit reliably prevents the build-up of moisture and unwanted odours – ideal for heavily used spa areas.
Thanks to the integrated K-SM KNX module, the ventilation system is fully integrated into the building’s internal KNX network and can be controlled intelligently, automatically and according to demand.
Efficient airflow & high-quality components
• Supply and exhaust air ducting via Maico flexible duct DN 90
• Air distribution via MaicoFlex air distributor DN 90
• 8 supply and exhaust air valves (RLV 125)
• 8 adapters MA U2-90 for optimal connection reliability
In addition, an air filtration system featuring an F7 pollen filter ensures optimal air quality – a major advantage that allows even those with allergies to breathe deeply.
Fresh air and exhaust air are channelled through DN 160 intake towers, which have been painted in the client’s chosen RAL colour so that they blend harmoniously into the exclusive design.
Within the building, the supply and exhaust air ducts are routed through diffusion-tight and insulated MAICOTherm MT 160 pipes (approx. 30 m), thereby minimising energy losses and achieving maximum system efficiency.
The ideal indoor climate in bathrooms
The bathrooms in the residential units are also fitted with the ECA 100 ipro KH – a highly efficient extractor fan with built-in humidity sensors. This automatically regulates the extraction of humid air without the user having to intervene.
