Company Founding:
With the founding of MAICO Elektroapparate-Fabrik GmbH by Christian Maier in Villingen-Schwenningen in 1928, an extraordinary corporate journey begins. From a visionary idea emerges a brand that goes on to shape industrial history. Today, MAICO looks back on nearly a century of innovation.


1960

The One-Millionth Fan:
On June 24, 1960, the one-millionth MAICO fan leaves the factory. This milestone impressively confirms the strong demand and trust in MAICO technology. The success curve rises steeply – Made in Germany convinces.

1978

50th Anniversary:
MAICO celebrates its 50th anniversary – half a century of progress and pioneering spirit.
Innovation, quality, and reliability have shaped the company from the beginning.
The anniversary reaffirms the course of a leading manufacturer in ventilation technology.

1990

Management Transition:
Hans Müller and Gerhard C. C. Warnke take over management and lead MAICO into its second generation. With fresh momentum and family continuity, they set the course for further growth.
This succession strengthens the company’s stability and future viability.

2000

Ten-Millionth Fan:
In the year 2000, the ten-millionth MAICO fan is sold – a roof fan from the DRD series.
This milestone highlights MAICO’s long-standing market leadership. Another testament to quality that has inspired customers for decades.

2023

Management of MAICO Holding GmbH:
In the year 2023, Jürgen Goldinger and James Turley jointly take over the management of the internationally oriented MAICO Holding GmbH. They steer the strategic direction of the entire corporate group. With a global perspective, they lead MAICO into its next phase of growth.

2025

new management:
As of January 1, 2025, Dominik Beck and Andreas Müller jointly assume the management of MAICO. Both represent the Müller and Warnke shareholder families in the fourth generation.
With them, a new chapter of tradition and modernization begins
